Thank you Sukhoi's Volunteers

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Head of the National SAR Agency expressed his deep gratitude to a number of parties who have been involved in the evacuation team Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Mount Salak, Bogor. In addition to Tim Basarnas, NTSC, various elements of the TNI, turn Russia, and local government, a diverse group of volunteers have joined in the operation.

"It's an international rescue operation. Various elements and groups joined in this operation. Therefore, on behalf Basarnas I want to thank you profusely," said Marshal Daryatmo, Chief Basarnas, in a press conference at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Friday (05/18/2012).

SAR operations have been ongoing for 10 days, starting from the accident happened on Wednesday, May 9, until this afternoon. During the operation of many individuals and groups have been joined as a volunteer. Among them, the local forest guides, Red Cross, Boy Scouts, Wanandri, Rock Climbing Federation of All Indonesian, and a group of nature lovers.

Without discouraging other volunteer roles, in particular praised the involvement Daryatmo Climbing Federation. "Their involvement is essential. Their expertise is helping us in conducting operations in a very difficult terrain," said Air Force's officer.

He called, these groups belong to the potential of SAR team, a group or community who have special skills in helping the operations of search and rescue.

Victim search operations are officially closed mind no longer found any signs of victims. However, an estimated 45 bodies to the victims of SSJ-100 is not yet all been found. Therefore, Daryarmo operations coordinator confirmed, it will re-open the search and rescue operation if later found signs of a victim who has not evacuated
